Not ALL ‘ All Inclusive’ Are The Same

all-inclusive-travelWhen clients are thinking of going to the Caribbean, the number one thing they seem to want is a really nice all inclusive holiday. But what does all inclusive really mean?

In the world of travel, you definitely pay for what you get and the reputation of the hotel or resort. That includes the quality of the food, the liquors, wines and beers that are offered, the quality of the furniture and linens.  Some resorts offer watersports, however depending on the resort, it may have its limits (have to rent snorkel gear or only allowed for 1 hour pre-reserved), or sometimes there is a water park on site, but you are charged a daily rate to use it. There are numerous resorts where you have to pay for use of the tennis courts.

While all of these situations are indeed very normal, there is one thing you can always expect from Sandals and Beaches Resorts. You will never have to pay for premium drinks (martinis are included, Beringer brand wines and Appleton Rums to name a few), all water sports are included and that even includes scuba diving, water skiing, knee boarding, sailing and windsurfing to name a few. Land sports are included as well – no fees for use of their beautiful tennis courts, gear and instruction. Fitness centres are always complimentary with state of the art equipment. At a few select Sandals and Beaches Resorts, golf (complimentary green fees and transfers) are included as well.

Sandals and Beaches have more restaurants per guest than any other Caribbean Resort. With the amount of allergies and dietary restrictions nowadays, it must be worrisome to travel. However not at Sandals or Beaches; they have a dedicated Culinary Concierge Desk at some of their resorts for your personal menu planning.

I have stayed at all inclusive and they were not Sandals or Beaches and understand the differences. I do believe that my job as a travel advisor is to understand the needs and wants of my clients and fit them with the best resort out there. So if it is an ultra-luxury included vacation that you are looking for, then Sandals or Beaches may be your fit. But remember not every resort is the same, so leave the work to me to help you find the best for you.
